Purpose
Company purpose
Context Trading provides project-based international trade and logistics advisory for material procurement. We bring supplier information, technical requirements, trade documents, settlement milestones, compliance inputs and delivery handovers into one project framework, helping clients compare options, clarify responsibilities, identify timing and cost assumptions, and recognize potential trade risks before execution. Our role is to provide analysis, planning, document organization and authorized coordination; customs declarations, physical transport, insurance and other regulated or operational services are handled by the client or qualified third parties.
Our services cover
01Procurement process support
We help organize project procurement requirements, screen suppliers, coordinate RFQs and compare quotations. We review open technical and commercial items and assess potential trade risks related to routing, delivery, payment and documentation. Legal advice on contracts or trade terms remains with the client's appointed professional adviser.
02Foreign-exchange and trade-settlement process support
We help organize the documents, payment milestones, bank-communication inputs and open items required for international trade receipts, payments and settlement arrangements. We then track document requirements, communication points and follow-up actions against the project schedule.
03Import, export and compliance coordination
We organize import and export documents, cargo information and destination compliance inputs. We coordinate information between the client, supplier and appointed qualified customs service provider, and flag missing or unconfirmed requirements. Customs declarations, agency work and clearance execution remain with the qualified party appointed by the client.
04International logistics planning
We compare transport modes, route assumptions, timing, carrier and forwarding options against the project requirements. We organize logistics quotations and handover milestones, and flag risks relating to transport, packaging, insurance and destination delivery. Physical transport and delivery are carried out by the carrier or logistics provider appointed by the client.
05Trade documents and contract-process support
We help prepare, review and organize letters of credit (L/C), bills of lading (B/L), certificates of origin (C/O Form E), insurance documents and other buyer-requested materials. We check consistency between documents and record missing inputs; legal advice, signing and contract execution remain with the client and its appointed professional advisers.
Principles
What clients can expect
Each engagement follows a defined working structure so the scope, project record and cost boundaries remain visible throughout the assignment.
01Scope confirmed first
Before work begins, the service scope, exclusions and participating-party responsibilities are confirmed.
02Project work is documented
Key assumptions, decisions, open items and next actions are recorded as the engagement progresses.
03Cost boundaries remain clear
Professional fees, freight charges and third-party costs are identified and communicated separately.
